The opinion that you bring with you and the opinions of those that agree with you that Moss's gesture was "Okay" are the very same people that think its "Okay" that grade school age children have access to condoms at school and that Bill Clinton's behavior in the white house with the young intern Moncia Lewinsky who was young enough to be his daughter was "Okay" and that Janet Jacksons supposed wardrobe malfunction on national TV during last years Super Bowl was "Okay".

Maybe I'm old fashioned at 42 years of age but in my opinion these types of display are not "Okay" as this is what is leading America's youth down the path of moral decline, and before you suggest that I am a bible thumper I can ensure you that I am not...However, I do know right from wrong and I also know what I want my children seeing on national TV and what I don't want them seeing during prime time.

Below is a quotation that might help you understand that actions such as Moss's can not be allowed to become the "Norm" that we live with and instead shoud be viewed with the distain that the behavior truly deserves:

Take care and good luck

Then don't let your kids watch TV if you don't want them to potentially see Randy Moss pretend like he's mooning the crowd of a rival football team.

Seriously... there's much worse to see on the cartoon network. And you say "primetime" like that is some sacred time slot. The most popular shows on TV are based almost primarily on Sex (desparate housewives) and death (CSI). Drug use, sexual innuendos, etc are extremely high on all of these shows and you want to talk about Randy Moss pretending like he's mooning someone? It was cartoonish humor at best... Nothing adult about it. It truly is "no big deal"

I never said that Moss's behavior was "okay" and your assumptions about how I feel about the other things you mentioned are way off base.

Let's remember what we're talking about too... professional football.

He had 70,000 people against him and he just scored a TD that solidified a lead in a huge playoff game. I'd like to think that I'd do the same thing.

my boss is a devout churchgoer and behavior like this usually disgusts him....judging by the fact that he saw the incident and was laughing about it, means some of you people here are getting really stuffy over nothing.

Like I said in the other thread......you might try buying yourself a sense of humor somewhere.....start with Walmart or maybe e-bay......

And find Joe Buck a hooker cuz he needs to get laid.

I personally didn't have a problem with the celebration , he probably endured 40 minutes of yelling from the fans and he earned the right to celebrate by catching that pass on one ankle. That being said I thought the Sideline shots of him mouthing to the packers players "Scoreboard M*tha F*cker" were alot more classless and I blame TV more than the Athletes. What he did by "Mooning" was sell more jerseys and gets fans talking about the NFL, it's all about money.

Also I think celebrating a Tackle or dancing after a first down is the biggest joke , (See Freddie Mitchell) Guy catches one pass a game and does a whole routine, what a douche bag. Just my .02.

Reggie ,

I don't think you "Get it" , obviously you have no argument or opinion because you resort to name calling (Idiots) which is very small minded of you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that is why it is called a discussion forum so people can give their side of the argument and agree to disagree.

Boog26,

Hey if the shoe fits wear it! I didn't call you an "Idiot", however, maybe you consider yourself one judging by your reaction.

Reminds me of what we did as kids by yelling "Hey F@g" just to see who would turn and look!

Moss has been an ass since playing at Dupont

Moss is an ass and has been an ass from his days in high school while playing at Dupont High School in West Virgina. Look at his past: Accepts a scholarship to go and play at Notre Dame under Lou Holts. Gets in a fight in high school and kicks a fellow student repeatedly in the head and send the guy to the ER. Lou Holts and ND drop him like a used condom. Then here comes St. Bowden at Free Shoes University at FSU to give him a 2nd chance. Well, that didn't last long. The ignorant ass somehows manage to get thrown out of FSU. Which I imagine takes A LOT! Look at Peter Warrick and numerous others. Round 3 send Randy to Marshall Univeristy in his home state of WV to play Div 2 football for Coach Pruet and the Thundering Terd. Not to mention Pruet has to bail half of those guys out of jail every saturday to play to begin with it didn't shock anyone that Pruet took Randay and gave him a 3rd chance! Let's see since he's been a Viking, he spit on a Minneappolis traffic cop and hit her with his suv while she told him to stop. Great guy, nice respect for the law, Randy. Walks off the field before the game is over in a game that could have decided if your team makes the playoffs. Then just yesterday moons the fans who are paying his salary. Randy needs to shadow Jerry Rice or M. Harrison and get a clue what class is.Yet sadily enough our society tolerates and even some sad souls worship ths clown. And some people wonder why our society is in the condition it is in today.
