As Viagra enhances sexual pleasures, marijuana enhances musical

listen pleasures.

All drugs/medications should be legal and controlled.

Harm from all drugs/medications occurs from abuse of usage Again, control is truly the key to preventing abuse. Abuse, often harnessed by individual denial.

I have found marijuana to be extremely mind expanding, in that, its effect enhance ones awareness, sensitivity and creative thought. The ultimate drug, which is relatively safe, quick and effective, leaving no hang-over or addictive traits.

Marijuana is simply the best when used sportingly.

"Steaming hot" water IS emitting water vapor (best solution)...making breathing (inhalation) much easier, expanding the lungs to hold more smoke.

Using "ICE COLD" water is a common misconception and an "improper" bonging (inhalation) technique, cold air contracts.

I suggest you try BOTH methods (ICE COLD and STEAMING HOT) water and experience the difference.

It's simply mind bong-o-ling.

Absolutely correct. The Marijuana Tax Act was passed in response to racist scare journalism put out by the yellow press at the time saying that "negroes are taking control of white children" by giving them pot. Also Dupont and the pharmacutical industries didn't want to compete with hemp and cannabis.

The reason why pot is illegal NOW is that the government doesn't have the realistic means to levy taxes on it unlike alcohol and cigarettes. How many people do you know that have distilleries or tobacco crops in their basements opposed to one who have a few plants just hanging around

marijuana illegal because of:

a. smoking and booze co.'s
b. mafia involvment in marijuana and then harder drugs.
c. puritanist ethics.

Legalize it dont critisize it.

Paper and other things are also potential low cost hemp products.... there would be a large money swing if pot were legalized.... Imagine if it were legal and a country like Mexico were to harvest and sell it, they could pay off many debts people would rather have them keep.

Not a user but this pseudo drug should be legalized, imagine the parks we could build, the hungry we could feed from the taxes on it alone.

"Money that could be put to good use, I agree...."

Agreed, but the fact is that we would just increase defense spending AGAIN and give more "pro-wealthy" tax breaks ...

if only this were a perfect world.

Old Hippie
The Bellamy Brothers

He turned thirty-five last Sunday

In his hair he found some gray

But he still ain't changed his lifestyle

He likes it better the old way

So he grows a little garden in the back yard by the fence

He's consuming what he's growing nowadays in self defense

He get's out there in the twilight zone

sometimes when it just don't make no sense

He gets off on country music
cause disco left him cold
He's got young friends into new wave
buts he's just too damn old
And he dreams at night of Woodstock
and the day John Lennon died
how the music made him happy
and the silence made him cry
Yea he thinks of John sometimes
and he has to wonder why

== Chorus ==

He's an old hippie

and he don't know what to do

should hang on to the old

should he grab on to the new

he's an old hippie

his new life is just a bust

he ain't trying to change nobody

he just trying real hard to adjust

He was sure back in the sixties
that everyone was hip
Then they sent him off to Vietnam
on his senior trip
And they force him to become a man
while he was still a boy
and in each wave of tragedy
he waited for the joy
Now this world may change around him
but he just can't change nomore

== Chorus ==

Well he stays away a lot now
from the parties and the clubs
And he's thinking while he's joggin' 'round
Sure is glad he quit the hard drugs
Cause him and his kind get more endangered everyday
And pretty soon the species
will just up and fade away
Like the smoke from that torpedo
just up and fade away

Guys,
I don't mean to insult anyone specifically, but have you not noticed a HUGE correlation between worthlessness, stupidity, lack of ambition & general lack of sucess between pot & those that use it???

I know there are CEO pot heads, but I'm talking about the masses here.

Those people would be stupid and worthless anyway. As they say, it's just an "enhancer".

That's true Nanuk, JourneyMan doesn't smoke pot, but it he didn't I guess it would be a little unfair to blame the excess THC on his problems ...

Damian, I know over a hundred people that smoke pot ....

... some are friends, some co-workers

The people I know that do NOT smoke pot have excelled VERY MUCH over those that do smoke pot given equal opportunity.

Sure a little rich punk (ahem ... Dubya) can smoke and sniff his way through life, but the common man cannot.

I'm not sure why potheads get so defensive over the issue ...

.. fact is that smoking weed kills brain cells & impairs judgement.

Yeah, so does alcohol, but I'm not exactly condoning alcoholism either, am I?
