The reason Limbaugh was fired is that one or more of the other on-air personalities (Tom Jackson??) told management basically "either he goes or I go". Management then made their decision (why they hired that phony hippocrital lying blowhard in the first place, I'll never fully understand).
I don't think any other on-air personality is making any similar demand regarding Irvin.

Right Side, Favre does not suck. He is playing to long for the legacy he deserves but he does not suck compared to his peers. He has a ring and a boatload of records. Once you get your ring and play the way he has he has a right to go out on his terms, which should be after this year BTW.
