It has nothing to do with wanting to live. I choose not to wear one because from looking at numbers and seeing that 99.9% of Anericans will survive it. That data is enough to tell me what I need to know.
Just a personal choice.
On the other hand......I think a lot of people are getting tired of the government telling us what we can and cant do regarding the Chinese Flu.

The only time I wear a mask is when I go food shopping and that's only because
I'm asked to do so. It's not worth my time to argue with someone who's just doing
their job.
Other wise no mask. Lots of people walking in the neighborhood and only one person
wears a mask. A Asian women. It's hard to tell how old she is. Somewhere between
30 and 70 is my best guess.
My family physician doesn't wear a mask at her practice so that's good enough for me.
I'm at the top of the list of people who should be concerned and yet I'm not.
I've never had a flu shot and yet I don't get the flu. I guess over the years, and
they have been many I've built up an immunity.
As for other people I encounter, wear a mask, don't wear a mask, matters not to me.

Why not wear a mask while you're inside your house? Cuomo stated the majority of Covid positive people in the hospital got Covid while inside their homes on lockdown.......time to start wearing masks inside the house.
I see people wearing masks out in public at the stores .......but nobody drives with a mask on .....nobody has a mask on while riding their bikes on the bike trail, & it was packed with people, & certainly people won't wear one at the beach, makes no sense.

Vote me on the side of masks being very overrated. Healthcare workers , hell yeah. There are around sick vulnerable people , open wounds , etc. Everyday people just going to the store to buy something or eating out. I'd take my chances with no mask given the choice.
My store never closed , deemed essential , we the fear was the highest no masks were being worn. Same with supermarkets etc, the first month or so when they were mobbed all day every day masks weren't required. There were no mass outbreaks at any of the supermarkets. Now in the last month everywhere needs a mask and the infection rate remains the exact same as when no masks were being worn.
Prevents speaking..they are dirty.. uncomfortable..make you look like an idiot..can't eat..drink..smell..
I tried to buy a cantaloupe yesterday and a tell of a good cantaloupe is the smell..no dice on that. Smell, taste, speech is being a human..talking to people..interacting it's being a human
