Do yourself a favor and educate yourself on the history of the draft in the early days of the NHL and then get back to me.

The Canadians play in the early days was the equivalent to the Chicago Bulls during the Jordan years playing in a league somewhere in China.

The rules weren't fair back in the day. And neither was the draft. What the Edmonton Oilers accomplished was much more impressive than what Montreal EVER did!
