Someone embed this please. He made all of 4 NFL throws in this entire HIGHLIGHT FILM. Notice how much running he did? How many receivers were 5 or more yards open? Even this audience knows that doesn't happen in the NFL.

4 real NFL quarterback throws in his HIGHLIGHT VIDEO.

One of the most dangerous statements in the English language is: "This time is different". Mariotta will go down as one of the all-time great college QB's, but will flop miserably at the next level. Has this kid ever taken a snap under center? He has been running the same system his entire life, doesn't know any different.

It's like I remember hearing when Michael Vick was taken #1 overall. "You just need to teach him to throw from the pocket" Hahaha. You could say the same thing about my mom.

I get a kick out of all the arm chair quarterbacks, NFL scouts and so on who can tell what college QB will be a bust or star in the NFL. To think of all the wasted draft picks when all they had to do is come and get expert analysis at the The RX.

Like how they drafted Tony Romo? Or how they decided to take Tom Brady in the 6th round? Maybe we will wait and take Dan Marino after we select Todd Blackledge? I think I will trade up and take Mark Sanchez at #3. I think I will take Vince Young at #3..... Just because you are a GM doesn't mean you can evaluate talent. I think I will trade 3 #1 picks and move up 4 spots to take RG3.

Copy and pasting definately proves your point. These Gm's and owners are never wrong.

So if leading up to the 2012 draft someone ranks the qbs as 1. Luck 2. Wilson 3. Tannehill 4. RGIII it must have been luck? Nfl evaluators took them at 1, 75, 8, and 2. I guess as fans we don't have the ability to watch a game and form intelligent opinions.

Mariota, the second overall pick, has lived up to the hype. He's a smart, tough and athletic, with the ability to make plays inside and outside the pocket. His signature moment came in last week's win, when he beat a blitz and ran for an 87-yard touchdown -- the third-longest run in NFL history by a quarterback. He became the first player in history to pass for 250 yards and three touchdowns and rush for 100 yards in a single game. He accounted for four touchdowns, joining Fran Tarkenton (1961) as the only rookies since 1960 to have three four-touchdown games. Dude can play.

The great Marcus Mariotta has led the Titans to the #1 overall pick while throwing for under 3,000 yards. But hey, he only fumbled 10 times.

There is a certain character on here who rips on Luck for his fumbles but when Marcus does it; it is just different right?

Fumbling with a horrible offensive line is alot different then a Stanford educated QB that consistently makes bad decisions. ..very stupid thread..bust of a thread

It doesn't suit his argument; so " bust of a thread". With his great "mobility", he should be able to avoid the rush. He does have a shit line but so do 12 other teams.

at 6'4 he can easily add to his frame.. He did have a few fumbles, most of them when he had no time behind that suspect O line.. despite what I think the NFL personel like what they see

Almost a year down and we still don't see eye to eye on this. Qb is something we can agree to disagree on.

On a side note saw you were near the money going into wk 16. Didn't see how you did this week but gl and get that money!

Not sure I have heard 1 analyst suggest he's not going to be a real good QB...But he is a bust according to you..like that's suppose to mean something
