ozzie nelson. never worked. hung out with david, ricky at the malt shop with all their friends almost daily. totally immersed in the boys lives in regards to their girlfriends, social events, everything. the whole show was about the interaction.

Archie,Al,and Homer for sure but since he has not been mentioned yet I will add Felix Unger. I liked Oscar better but Felix had a kid(daughter). Plus Felix was hilarious in episodes where he was afraid of flying and the one where he and Oscar were getting horse tips from an exercise rider!
