Question,

When ManeJ had his 5k bet on the Bears posted, did he post that he was bailing on buying off the bet before the game started?

A week before the game started... I knocked it down to my average biggest wager...

I realized I was being a moron and betting a homer play... So I knocked it down... still thought they would cover but lost the bet obviously

Not even sure how it even compares to the stunt Crunch pulled. Being a "homer" bet I'm sure it was talked it up, but bailing out on a bet a week before is hardly "the last sec" like the poll indicates. And even if it was close to gametime, it's still before the game started.

No one is obliged to follow or fade anyone's picks - but it is kind of an unwritten code that you don't past-post for the sake of bragging rights. Posting a pick and then posting that you're pulling the pick (or changing it) is hardly unique. Anyone who has bet for years has bet "off" a game at some point.

Posting that you're changing a bet is the same as posting a new bet itself. Posting after a game ends that you changed a bet is no different than the worst tout scammers who give out opposite sides and then brag up the win to the select suckers.

Regardless of how much smack TheManj talked in his big football pick, he changed his bet and gave plenty of notice. Had he come to the forum after the game ended and posted "thank god I changed my bet" then I think he would have expected (and received) the same grilling Crunch is getting.

No contest here. All personal petty BS aside, what Crunch pulled was a weasel maneuver and he just can't swallow the fact that he's made himself look like an ass and refuses to swallow the biggest chalk loser he's probably ever posted.

I was an idiot and a fool about the Bears though as well that is what adds to it. I talked them up forever all... All season in fact and called people morons that disagreed and got on peoples bad sides... That is more what the poll is about and understandably so... I was an annoying one sided d Bag... I knocked it down because of advice from someone else that I bet with...

Crunch is still a tool

So what's your take on what Boxslayer pulled? He touts a pick, has a full page write-up, then after it loses, he miraculously bet something entirely different (which won btw, I know, SHOCKING!) all by "Mistake".... someone who touts a pick the entire day doesn't know the difference between 1st half and full game? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha!
</p>So giving props to others who know more about hockey than I do, is "weasel maneuver"? So no one's ever changed their mind before placing their bets? Well, I did. Thanks to them. And I don't post everything I do because I don't spend 24/7 on the computer like some unemployed "lawyer". The funny thing is, I missed betting on some huge winners but had I posted that I didn't bet, no one would say anything. Bunch of weasels. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Btw, "20 units" (a unit means different things to different people) isn't the most I ever said I'd bet. Did you not see my all-in plays where I went 5-0? I turned $17 in to close to $10,000. All documented. I've given over 300 winners on this forum in my short time here.... how many for you? Oh right, you're just another freeloading douchebag who couldn't pick his own mama out of a lineup of crackwhores. Trust me, I have more capping ability in my pinky than you do your entire body. Stick to what you do best, jerking off to teenagers. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
