I took Spieth at 10-1 and Mickelson at 23-1 and they finished 1-2. The first time I've won a golf bet since picking Rose in the U.S. Open last year. I should quit while I'm ahead. Anybody think Spieth can stay in the zone and win another major this year?
Yes. I think he has the game to win at Whistling Straights. Don't know if he is long enough for the US Open at Chambers Bay.....which by the way, I have no clue about this course but damn almost every par 4 is over 500 yards.....damn son.
I'm thinking once all of the celebrations and hype around Spieth settles down, the PGA could be his best bet for another major. We might get better odds on him by then too.
Funny that at 21 he shoots 18 under at the Masters. He'll win many majors from here on in but will he ever shoot -18
at Augusta again that's pretty unlikely. If he does Jack's 18 majors looks like a possibility.
The officials at the Masters will assure us that it will never happen again.....those greens this week were softer than Jimmy Graham.......(how's that Chop?)
