Walker was bet Jan 19th at 60/1 at Betmania... I got the Spieth play in Vegas last August or Sept.. I believe the ticket was at Tuscany.. You can't just look at the odds the week of the Masters and expect to get anything good.. Futures are what it says, futures..

Oh yeah, my bad, I recall now you are razorsharp with Futures Bets, my sincere apologies. I read real recently here in another thread of a sharp Futures Bet made by you...may have involved NCAAB. I apologize for any disrespect.

Resident Futures Sharp here, you are.

True
(and rare) Futures Player nabbin' Walker at 60-1 when most the rest of us was mainlining Mescal to recover from this

somehow managing to not stay U44.5.

...and you're out huntin' down Futures Plays on the Masters 2 1/2 months away lmao nice work.

Too many charlatans posting bogus #'s in the past made me jump to a foolish conclusion in the present...you know what I mean.

Walker's confidence has got to be higher than it's ever been. He's lived with having the FedEx Cup and $10,000,000 stripped right out from under him by Billy Freekin Hoerschel LY (WTF??!?) comin' in here in serious form just off a win and having tied for 8th LY in his Augusta debut?????!?

You could very well cash here...at 60-1.

Absolutely re: all that quoted but the setup you've got with Walker in this spot is Dy-no-MITE!! May be guys as motivated as Jimmy Walker here but impossible any guys are more motivated than him.

Whats he at Betmania right now? 18-1?

ya...lot of Day love. tough to play him now.

I see it in the Kentucky Derby each year although I don't know if it applies as much to the Masters......A horse will be the buzz horse all week (usually he is 3rd-5th choice) and he gets buzz and hype all week.......The worse one was years ago when a horse that looked 50-1 on paper was around 10-1 only cause he had Borel on him and no surprise he was up the track.......Even when I was in Augusta yesterday there was Day hype........Turned on the TV last night and more Day hype....Look on the Internet and more day hype (usually the same narrative is he has everything to win this like he is so much better than the others)

Rory---------going for 3 Majors in a row?...........really tough to do historically

Bubba------going for 3 Masters wins in 4 years?..........really tough to do historically

Speith---------playing well, still young............will he fold late like last year?

Day---------- way too many like him like he the one to beat without being the favorite

Dustin Johnson----getting some hype like Day, but not as much as Day.

I just don't know if his putting is gonna be right enough to have him get The Jacket. Past results here for him (2nd in 2011, Tied for 3rd in 2013) speak against my lack of faith in him at this course but his putting of late....he 3 putts some holes Round 3, 4? + inclement weather + a packed contentious leaderboard??? Could go to Hell in a Handbasket quick-like for JDay....

The irony is the most consistent guy on this course the last several years has never won a major and he is in his early 40's (Lee Westwood).....He's had that best player to never win a major title forever (both Westwood and Sergio)

Very Interesting Mention. He's only Forty One.

(Current Odds to win about 50-1)

From http://www.leewestwood.com :

Lee's best finish in the Masters so far, was 2nd in 2010, but he finished T3rd in 2012, T8th in 2013 and 7th last year.
His Mum and Dad will be supporting him at Augusta National Golf Club.

Lee has a 9.13 (ET) tee-time with Miguel Angel Jimenez and Anirban Lahiri on Thursday.
