Pete was the most gifted, most entertaining, the best, whatever you want to say. And yes..... his team double sucked dog butt.

As the above stats bear out..... Walton was better than Alcindor. A couple more tidbits...... Sampson should be most remembered for the NCAA creating a rule because of his talents. And Larry Bird and his band of half-butts got jackhammered by Magic and Sparty.

I believe as the folk lore goes, Alcindor's freshman team (ineligible to play varsity at the time) used to beat Walton's varsity team in practice.

Someone mentioned Bird and there "undefeated" team going into the finals. They did not play much of a schedule. Had a really goo mid-major team.

This is funny. 1960's basketball wasnt real. There are 50 college players in 2014 better than Oscar Robertson.

It's like Greg Oden in high school. He was a 7'0" tall guy with average athletic ability who was playing against 6'4" guys... Does it count?
