The bottom line is, all of the top teams have flaws. Doesn't matter if you are talking about the current 3-0's or the preseason fav's of Indy, NE, Pitt & SD.
Denver's D is obviously suspect & they are fortunate (to say the least) to be 3-0. I'm willing to give them somewhat of a pass b/c it was SD & NO who put up points on them (even at home). Not exactly the worst offenses around.
They keep playing like this and they will get smoked come playoff time. But looking at their schedule.....Very possible they could be 7-0 heading into the bye.
KC on deck should be no problem. LJ might carve them up for 150 but I doubt they keep pace scoring wise with Thigpen at the helm.
TB & J'ville visit Denver after that. Both can put up some points but they are hardly in SD & NO class offensively.
Week 7 is a Monday nighter in NE. Cassell should be in full swing by then but Denver has never had a problem beating NE Brady or no Brady.
After the Bye? Miami, Clev & Atl.
The only people saying Denver is the flavor of the month are the ones who listen to what the talking heads tell them. That this team is averaging over 35 ppg so far should surprise no one. You could see it coming a mile away.
