Top 5 in the AFC are:
1. Indy
2. NE
3. SD
4. Tenn
5. Pitt
I'm as big of a Broncos fan as you'll find, but they aren't a top 5 team until the defense shows it can stop someone. Once they play the better teams that shit won't fly. They can't score 40 pts a week the whole season, that just doesn't happen (unless you're the 07 Pats).
As Hines pointed out, you guys are overreacting to three weeks. You can't just put all the 3-0 teams at the top. Indy still has the most talent, NE is right behind them. The Bills haven't really beaten a top team, and could EASILY be 1-2 right now. Tennessee has played three teams with a combined record of 1-7 right now. Put them up against Indy, NE or SD and I'd make any of them at least a 4-7 point favorite. They do have the best defense, but not sold on their offense at all.
Buffalo and Denver are pretenders imo at this point. Beat a couple of good teams with an impressive outing and I'll be impressed. Close wins against average/below average teams means nothing to me except that they got a favorable schedule to start the year. Denver beat a good team, but LT was hurt and Denver needed a little help from Ed to get the win. Bad calls are part of the game, but they should win that game at home, and in reality they deserved to lose.
