Harry,i'm assuming the same, but as we all know and have seen, they like to do what they want no matter what anybody thinks, they just want to make money on the best teams that will fall into that category

Yeah I guess. Bama fans will point to this argument if OSU gets in over them, and OSU fans will point to it if Bama gets in.

Both teams are Goliaths, both travel well. I don't see a huge difference between the two as far as revenue-generating potential.

If it was OSU and Ole Miss, sure. But these two programs are on the same tier. Not a factor.

I’m not sure Ohio State is a lock if they win. They would be conference champs and have a better schedule than Alabama, but getting skull dragged by Iowa could be the wart that knocks them out. Penn St was wildly overrated, Michigan pretty mediocre this year, Wisconsin’s schedule was a joke and the Oklahoma loss was at home. Not sure if the gap in schedule/quality wins is large enough to make up for the two losses compared to Bama’s one loss away to another playoff team.

Could be tight if it unfolds this way.

I’m definitely in the minority, but four is fine by me. Most seasons the fourth “best” team is already majorly outgunned compared to the top 1-2 teams in the country. Adding in seventh and eighth “best” teams just waters down even further. There certainly are some exceptions, but looking back over the years teams in those positions have no business in the playoffs.

No offense to you personally, but I hate that "such and such a team turned out to be way overrated" argument. How do you know it wasn't OSU skull-fucking them that sent them into a tailspin?

This is probably it:

Winner of B10CG
Winner of SECCG
Winner of ACCCG

All locks.

If OK wins B12CG, they are in. If not, Bama probably gets that 4th spot.

I don't see Ohio St as a lock, more of a bubble team with Bama

Championship doesn't make you a top 4 team

Miami Wisconsin or Ohio State are not top 4 teams and should not be in

Top 4 teams obviously control their own destiny, as does GA & Miami IMO

I'm not sure Ohio St does, a win puts them on the bubble with Bama

A TCU win puts Bama in the field

I want chaos, I want TCU and Miami and Ohio St and GA to win, then watch the committee spin every selection

We'll have 8 teams ASAP

PS: come Saturday, my desires may change based on who I bet on :)
