In no particular order

1) Winner of Auburn / GA
2) Winner of Miami / Clemson

Now it gets harder

Oklahoma if they win, Wisky if they win, and Bama will all have claims to the other two spots

If OK or WI lose, then Bama is in with either OK or WI (whoever won)

If both OK & WI lose, the 4th spot is wide open

I think the Tide is probably going to make it, although wins by WI and OK will put them on the bubble

For now I say.

Crazy things can happen in those championship games.

Ohio St can beat Wisconsin
Georgia can beat Auburn
And it wouldn't surprise me if TCU beats Oklahoma

Long way from being settled

1-Clemson
2-Oklahoma
3-Wisconsin
4-Auburn

I don't think the committee is going to drop Alabama to # 5 in the next rankings. I hope I'm wrong.

1 Clemson 11-1
2 Oklahoma 11-1
3 Wisconsin 12-0
4 Alabama 11-1
5 Auburn 10-2
6 Miami 10-1
7 Georgia 11-1
8 Ohio St 10-2

If Ohio St wins, and Miami and Georgia both lose, they could leapfrog a bunch of teams to grab the # 4 spot.

Alabama deserves to be there

No, they do not. When this is your schedule:

#3 Florida State (5-6)

Fresno State (9-3)

Colorado State (7-5)

Vanderbilt (5-7)

Ole Miss (6-6)

Texas A&M (7-5)

Arkansas (4-8)

Tennessee (4-8)

#19 LSU (9-3)

#16 Mississippi State (8-4)

Mercer (5-6)

#6 Auburn (10-2)

and you are trending downward in terms of performance (barely beat Miss St & got beat by double digits by Auburn), you are not deserving of a playoff spot over a potential undefeated power 5 champ (Big 10), a guaranteed 1 loss power 5 champ (ACC with the potential that the champ could be the team that beat the same team that just beat you by double digits), a potential 1 loss power 5 champ (Big 12) & possibly a one loss power 5 champ from your conference.

So based on facts, where does Alabama deserve to be there?

Oh yeah, they do not.

If Wisky wins out they are still out - I was reading that if Auburn beats Georgia they will be the overall #1 seed

As much as I hate Barn....they are playing the best ball in the country right now. That being said no way in hell they should jump Clemson with the H2H.
