For all of the useless sumbags and shit stains of society who have lived on cash jobs, and don't pay their fare share of the tax bill deserve this, i hope it goes on, until they as all insolvent, and in grand canyon size craters of debt, you should have prepared for not working, there should be no stimulus checks, if you lost your job, you were not that important, and most likely will not get your job back, it will be replaced by automation sooner now, machines don't get sick and don't spread germs in the work force.

You think it's only people who are on cash jobs who have had their lives quicksanded? The anguish is going to be wide and deep. Many well seated people will be caught up in this as well.
Even if only "cash" people got hurt, 7% (using your number) is a lot greater (as in not even close greater) percent of the population than deaths of otherwise healthy people to COVID.

The respondents in this thread only see the people getting hurt who are "visible". How would you like to be a banker, right now? How about a commercial real estate developer? How about a commercial real estate owner? How about a hospital? How would you like to be sitting on a nice million dollar condo in greater Boston? How about an auto manufacturer? How about a boat / and or RV manufacturer or dealership? How would you like to be Steve Wynn with that Everett Casino?
Don't forget that all the above that I mentioned employ a lot of people. How about all the people who service those industries?
I could go on for hours. I am sure that you could think of many other industries that just got kneecapped. Industries mean jobs. Struggling industries mean layoffs.
We're in trouble. The longer we keep business from doing what they do in a free marketplace, the deeper the problems.
