I don't think you can fault WM for being able to buy at the best price, when they buy stuff by the trainload.

The stuff is still going to be made in China no matter who sells it, so I don't think you can argue about manufacturing jobs.

WM does drag down the job market with lousy pay and benefits, I think they should improve that. there's going to be a large class of people that live in poverty in the US in the future when WM is the only place to work.

honzie - have you been to a bickfords lately. I say its the welfare version of 99 restarant. everyone in there looks like they crawled out of dumpster

Wow - all the WalMart haters here! I don't know about you, but when I'm in the mood for a 16 day-old hot dog, a box of stale popcorn and a chance to check out all the Plus-size soccer moms in their bizzare leotards, it's WalMart for me Jack!!!

We indirectly deal with them. If you looked at it from a vendor angle, you would see it my way.

I enjoy my Wal Mart trips to keep me on an even keel with how the not so furtunate have to live. I will admit some of their employees here in Dallas look like they walked to work from the ghetto, but I see that on the streets anyway. I'm kind of used to it, atleast they don't let them have their pants hanging down their ass. I like to save money too and Wal Mart does that for me. Another biggie is it's a one stop shop.
In the publics eye to me Wal Mart has taken the place of KMart and Target is the new Wal Mart. Some people used to be embarassed to say they shop at Kmart, now I think some are ashamed to say they shop at Wal Mart. I shop Wal Mart instead of Target mainly because it closer to home.

I just realized something after leaving Walmart. I am the alleged racist of this site, but I never really noticed the huge concentration of minorities/poor at Walmarts. A lot of the "open-minded" libs exposed themselves for the racists that they are. You can usually pick out the closet racists because they often go out of their way to make it seem like they aren't racist.

Wal Mart flip flops cause nasty chemical burn

Kerry bought some flip flops for $2.44 at Wal Mart. After wearing them for a while, she noticed a tingling sensation on her feet. She immediately stopped wearing the flip flops. Soon after, her skin turned red and blistery.

When she took the matter up with Wal Mart, they told her to take it up with the Chinese manufacturer.
