Which Posters Provide the Least to the RX in their contributions?

Really sucky day guys. Truly sorry.

4-5 today on sides, but counting the 3 losing teasers, it was 4-8 all in all.

I'll get the units updated as soon as I feel like tackling the math.

You are very selective in what you choose to share about people with others. You are happy to inform the world when they lose, but when they win no one hears a word about it from you.

Why is that?

i wasn't making a point about your record. the point, if you read my post, was you don't add your units up when you lose. when you win you post the units as soon as the games are over.

This damn thread is hijacked like so many threads around here, which is ironic because this very thing leads to the uselessness of many threads and provides the least to the RX in their contributions.

when you win you post your record, when you lose you don't. at least you admitted it. i never said it was easy to post a losing record. you will get more respect and credibility if you post the good AND the bad.

to me, it breaks down like this...there are essentially five groups of posters:

1) sharp gamblers and/or solid cappers who post their opinions and are worth reading for that reason. railbird, fish-head, d2bets and iceman are a few of these names. there are others but, i'd say no more than 8 or 10.

2) attention whores who have no life and live in this place. they think they are good cappers but, in reality, they have no clue. when they go bad...they get drunk and/or angry and post a bunch on nonsense to get people riled up...this makes them feel like a non-loser for about 15 minutes then its back to the crap-life they lead. no need to mention any names...you all know who you are.

3) sheep. it seems about 50 sheep a week are joining and posting here. they post things like "great pick...i'll take a shot with the mavericks minus the 17.5". they will either drop off the face of the earth when the wanna-be tout they are following goes cold...or they morph into #2.

4) people who get a bang out of posting here and are here for mainly entertainment purposes. they are gamblers and profit from the insight from posters in catergory #1...but, they really just post threads about entertaining stuff and crack wise about things in general. poster winbet falls into this category.

5) mods

i have no use for catergories 2 or 3. therefore, the posters in these categories offer the least to the r/x..in my opinion.

I have no use for posters who never give an opinion on games, never mentions a trend,stat or angle that might assist someone in the right direction.

Also posters that mostly come on here for contest picks and to discuss non-sports related topics.

If someone like that left the site would anyone notice?

is this the thread you are talking about? well i did not have you in mind when i posted my criteria but...now that i see your drivel in my thread and this one...i would put you firmly in #2. i am in #4. i dont post plays for reasons that are my own. i have earned money gambling each year since 2002...not enough to live on but, enough.
