You keep talking about how great Hard Rock Vegas is, now I want to stay there and check it out

by far my favorite, when you combine:

1) great music playin all the time
2) CVS Walgreens accross street for everything you need (CHEAP!)
3) One of the best pools in Vegas
4) Fantastic memorbelia to look at EVERYWHERE
5) great diner for good but CHEAP eats
6) Hard rock restaurant for medium priced eats
7) "Wasted Space" lounge is a great place to hang out and play $1 a hand electronic blackjack in exchange for free drinks!!!
8) Off Strip so easy parking.

I was walking on Fremont last week and Binion's party pit girls now rival the ones at the Hard Rock and at Planet Hollywood.

I always get a kick out of the families as they walk past Binion's party pit with boys in tow.

The fathers try so hard not to look.

@)

really eh? that is great to hear, what are the minimum bets in the party pit?

After the Golden Nugget, my 2nd choice would be the California.

They have some very nice redone rooms with LCD tvs in one of their towers. The other two Boyd properties (Freemont and Main St. Station) are decent as well.

The Cal is not under the Canopy, but its just right across the street from the back exit of the LV Club.

That is correct, all you need is a players card which most Vegas visitors already have from a prior visit or you can pick one up for free along with a free deck of cards when you sign up for it.:toast:

sign up for their players card and I think that you can get the shrimp cocktail for 99 cents

Main Street Station is a very nice place. I may give it an edge over the Nugget in a couple of areas, even. Notably the buffet and their brew pub.

I ate at the brew pub last week and had the filet sandwich which was pretty good but the onion rings were hard. It's a nice place to watch the games. We'll be having dinner there Friday night of the Bash.

The locals say that the buffet is one of the best in town.

The buffet is decent. If you like buffets. I love seafood so I really enjoy the Friday and Saturday seafood nights. They have hot snow crab legs. Most strip buffets these days only serve them cold. Great value at around $15 with a players card.

And Arizona City, Arizona??? I know you dont live there. Got a kick out of that though...

I am a fan of Treasure Island even though i have not been there in a few years, but its good to hear about the 24 hour deal,..have not been in the Golden Gate in a long time, but since the Circa is involved its a must see for me and the pics i have seen look great,..South Point has always been one of my tops but, its very bright in there, and if they would adjust that then it really would be great
