If Dave "didn't mean it at all", he would have/could have said that the moment I reacted to his vile comment. Instead, he doubled down and called supporting the Terrorist a patriotic act. He did not even give a hint it was tongue in cheek until a month later, which he then immediately retracted. If Dave Truly knows he shouldn't have written what he did, he has had AMPLE opportunity to show that. Instead he has continued to show he meant it. An apology and retraction will get him somewhere, it will show for one fleeting moment he can step up and be a man of decency. I will accept his apology and retraction, and won't call him a Terrorist Supporter again, unless he makes similar vile comments.
