Now this is one thing I've never agreed with.
They CHOSE that career so that doesn't mean the rest of us should pity them.
I've never liked the fact that if a cop is killed during duty he is a hero, and if a construction worker directing traffic who's job is just as dangerous or more so gets killed, we don't hear a peep.
I know this isn't relevant to the original topic and the way people are reacting to police officers is completely out of control and something needs done asap.

But people are only reacting this way to police officers because 1. It wasn’t a felony or even a crime anyone knew of until recently. 2. I am their boss. You are their boss. They don’t like to hear this shit but they work for YOU.
They will say that they work for a police department. No. That police department is funded by tax money which we pay.
If cops learn to talk to the community with respect, because we pay their salaries, if they learn that then finally they will be doing their jobs correctly.
Because what they do is go after people who can’t protect themselves. They love going after Kids or people in poverty. Kids in poverty is their favorite
Of course it's a no-brainer.
I assure you if we look it up more road workers are killed each year than cops or the numbers are pretty close to each other.
