Here's the comparison to make and I'll go real slow.

Their jobs are dangerous compared to other jobs out there like dentistry, plumbing, Home Depot employee etc. We all know this and it goes without saying.

Do more cops commit suicide than are killed in the line of duty? Of course they do and that isn't uncommon compared to any other line of work throughout the United States. Of course you're going to have more contractors take their own lives than contractors that accidentally die at work.
