Laughable how most of you all and ur biggest wage ever all won hahaha for me itsn ot more than 800 but just funny on these forums what ppl say espeically the 18 year old betting 11k

I was 18 when I made the wager. It's been nearly 10 years between my two largest wagers in my career. I'm not to sure what is so laughable about it. Why would I make that up? For what it's worth I lost that game so it sort of defeats your post. I was stupid and had no bankroll management then ran up $500 to about 12k in a week and let 11k of it ride on a game. If the current me could meet the 18 year old me i would have kicked his ass but then again it taught me how to play the game the right way so I gained a lot from that experience.

I've had 11k on a game once when I was 18, and 10k twice on a game since. I went 2-1 in these games. If you count parlays, technically you could say I had 22k on a game this year. 5 team parlay, 4 win, 5th game is up 10-0 in the fifth and lose 11-10 giving up like 5 or 6 runs in the ninth with two outs. Fun.

Yes I am still a bit bitter. But at least I can add this to the list of things I can blame Jim Hendry for. Damn you not re-signing Derosa

I'm not sure what you mean, the guy above this post. 2 accounts? I posted about this earlier in this thread with this account

$20,000 on OSU-Michigan game in 2006 at MGM Grand.

OSU had the game covered, but a bullshit PI on 4th and 10 gave Michigan a 1st down and the scored against the old prevent defense. OSU won 42-39. They had it won, I was in my room going nuts, thought I had it won and saw the flag and knew I was done.

28-7 God Damn lead in that game.

I don't know if you remember, when OSU recovered the onside kick, on the final hand off to Antonio Pittman, he he had a chance to score if he broke the tackle, there was nobody on the left side of the field.

Typically a $50 to $100 player, on a short roll no less, and I've popped in a few $500 bets before.

LSU -3 -130 vs Ohio st. for the NC. Being down 10-0 killed me in that first quarter, but the game went much better for me.
Florida -3 vs Okla this last year
Arizona +6 @ Oregon... Oregon killed the Cats for a while, and then AZ has a massive 4th quarter to lose by 10.

And put $300 on both Sd and under when NE came to play last year, I was following *********. That $600 was the biggest win for me, but it was two bets so it didn't really count as the one biggest.

Typically a $100-$300 player on most games, unless I get on a big roll. Which was the case back at the end of 2004.

Beginning of the year, I could not buy a freaking break. I was in one of the worst ruts of my life and got into a $7k hole while I was cutting down my amounts, not chasing them. Nothing was working. Then things started turning around at the beginning of November, and I turned a $7k hole into an $8k profit by the end of football season...with my biggest play being $2500 on USC -2 over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. I liked everything about that game and even remember posting a long thread about it on here with a bunch of reasons I was playing SC.

Oklahoma scored first to go up 7-0, and the cameras showed a shot of Pete Carroll smiling on the SC sidelines as he was talking to someone on his headset. I'm thinking "Wtf is the matter with him?" then the onslaught began. About 15 mins later, SC was up 28-7 and they showed Bob Stoops with a downright scared look on his face...he looked like he was just thrown into a UFC cage to fight a starving lion. That's when I knew I was in pretty good shape for that play...

I'll bet $1k on something that I really like, but those plays don't come along often. Maybe once a year. But I have never again gotten anywhere near 2,500 on another play again.

About 20 years ago when I first got into sports betting. Have to laugh now at how stupid I was listening to all the hype from the local sports talking heads in the media. Telling everyone how great the Seahawks were. I bet $1,100 on the Seahawks (-3 I think) over KC the 1st game of the season. The Seahawks lost the game.

Had Towson st. +15 against UNC Wilmington for approx. 7K-9k (spread out thru many books) in january of 2006. I was officiating a high school basketball game and during every break in the action i was calling score phone to find out the score. I didn't even care about the game i was reffing and i was sweating bullets. I was on one of my biggest losing streaks in 8 years. Towson was on a hot streak at the time and UNC wilmington if i remember at the time had injury problems so i went real big on this game. Well it turned out that Towson got destroyed and lost 78-46. After scoring over 90 i remember for like 3 consecutive games they couldn't make a bucket in this game and shot like 20 something % from the field. I was devastated.
