Once, after a very disheartening loss, I decided to put a virus inside a thread on a posting forum...

No one was able to find out it was me because their computers didn't shup down until 6 months later...

But not to worry, it only affected people who read my post talking about it...

Great thread...there's an anti-teen gambling commercial running in my state now. It shows a high school kid watching some hoop game. He screams out in disgust "That shot was money" and then proceeds to take a baseball bat to the TV. I never laughed so hard in my life.

I once broke a ping pong paddle over Gary Colemans head after giving me bad info on a tennis match.

I remember that game. I had a huge bet on the Seahawks to cover. I was never so lucky. That was around 78-79 if I remember right.

Sickgambler and Steve: I found a site listing historical NFL scores and looked through a number of years around the late 1970's. The only game I found with a score of 21-17 with Oakland winning was in the 1978 season, week 6, at home vs. the Houston Oilers. I then looked at the other link below to see which MNF game it was, but it looks like it was not a Monday night game because it's not listed. The ONLY reason I checked into this was because that ****ing cat story made me spit up some bourbon, and I LIKE cats!!! Yeah, it wasn't funny at the time but it sure made a great story - thanks for sharing.

Jazz,
Thanks for the research. My game was Oakland-vs-Seatle, forgot the year but Sick's story brought back memories and is funny as hell...sounds like me when I bet more than I should.

Shrink? Never been to a real shrink so I must know you from the forum only. I think? I'm from Chester, Pa. Now living in Lewes, De.

Man.....I thought that I had a "fuse".

I've lost multiples of those mentioned above in single plays, and haven't come NEAR these stories.
