Thats what I always thought of organized religion, it was invented for power and rule by fear.
Think about it they say follow me and do what I say and when you die you'll go to a wonderfull place called heaven but if you dont you'll spend all eterinty in hell. Thats a good way to scare plople into doing what you want.

Not quite accurate, as many Catholics consider themselves born again.
In any case, an Evangelical is any Christian (of any denomination) who believes AND acts on the notion that it is their personal responsibility to spread The Good News, simple as that. With that being said, 99.99% of Evangelicals are of Protestant denomination. Catholics don't typically evangelize.
What do most amercians think about evangelicals, I got to think a lot of amercains are pissed they wield so much power seeing that Bush basicly the most powerfull man in the world is one and I'm guessing they had a lot to do with getting him in. I mean how else could this guy be voted in twice.

It seems to me that you're either programmed by your moonbat leaders or you feel an emptiness deep inside where God belongs.
