Go figure, Sunday's episode pretty much addressed your dragon question.
Dragons = Thrones equivalent of America's decision to bomb Japan in 1945
Dany's inner-circle is hesitant to use the dragons, because they're worried about blowback, civilian deaths, long-term reputation, etc. The Targaryens have a terrible history when it comes to dragons & fire (see, the Mad King) -- if Dany's dragons torch 50% of Westeros, she'll forever be seen as a monster.
Also, if you burn every castle & village -- not much left to rule, is there?
I appreciate somebody explaining. I really do because nobody had an answer. But lets be realistic here..... a show that is based around sneaking behind peoples backs and slitting their throats. The code is kill or be killed in this show. Now they are worried about civilians? This lady wants to kill all these families.... isn't that 13 year old tom boy in one of the families? SO she is okay with killing her? You do realize how unrealistic and contradictory that is right? If that is the real reason why she wont bring out the Dragons is because she is afraid of killing civilians lmfao!!! What show are we watching again? Friends?
But forreal....Long term reputation of what? I thought the end all goal is to be King or Queen and rule all? No matter HOW you kill all those families you will be seen as a monster regardless. I mean I get you about burning the village but that is why I said do it in a open battlefield. Go to war and then bring them out. You can avoid destroying all that by just luring them out of the castle. Isn't that what that little midget is good for -- thinking up shit?
I will have a counter for everything honestly. But I definitely appreciate it.
