Why a teenager in the year 2015 (or 2040) would need to know Latin is a mystery when he could - if called on - learn it in 12-18 months max thanks to foreign language software programs.

All someone needs to learn a new language is......software!!!

So what you're saying is that so long as the letter next to the presidents name is the one you like things are great. And when the letter next to the presidents name is the one you dislike, things are horrible.

If you believe the party the president belongs to represents the entirety of whether things are good and bad, than it is hard to argue against such logic. For those of us who believe our own choices -- not the presidents choices -- determine whether things are good and bad, the logic doesn't hold up.

yep, that was the entire jest of my argument, thank you

did you know? I picked 1990 because that's 25 years ago?

25 years from now only Australia will be a land of plenty. This prediction is based solely on its immigration policy.

Australia secretly held a group of 46 asylum seekers on a warship at sea for almost a month and rejected their
refugee claims during interviews that took as little as 40 minutes before returning them all to their various
homelands last month. The Australian navy routinely turns back boats carrying asylum seekers from Africa,
the Middle East and South Asia. However, these boats are usually returned to Indonesia, where most of
the sea voyages begin. It would seem that Australia is the only country left on the planet with a grain of sense.
