Jon Gruden won a Super Bowl... did Marvin Lewis? Nope. Could Marvin Lewis explain the game as clearly and colorfully on TV as Gruden? Nope. Gruden was well liked, players, fans, and viewers loved him. Give us a break.

It was a total set up, of course with 650,000 emails going back to 2011 some Africans used the words "fag-ot" or "cracker-redneck-honkie" and of course "nig-er" and worse... people did not understand the internet back then. But hang Gruden!

He also built the team that he beat in that game into a perennial contender. Was one of the best coaches of that late 90s/early 00s era I think. But 10 years away from coaching is a long damn time and the raiders had become a joke since.

They didn’t want to pay Mack and Cooper their final few years in Oakland so team was gonna be pretty talent deficient as well.
