Why fight against police defunding, but fight for police reform? The only reason police defunding has any traction is because the police and their apologists fight so hard against any reforms that increase professionalism, accountability, and protection of constitutional rights.

Why fight against police defunding, but fight for police reform? The only reason police defunding has any traction is because the police and their apologists fight so hard against any reforms that increase professionalism, accountability, and protection of constitutional rights.

I am not fighting against defunding, if that is what they want to do have at it. To expect police to be better with less money and resources
is idiotic. The change to be made needs to start with the politicians, police chiefs, district attorney, police unions who allow bad cops to stay on the force
To start with that would be the biggest change that could happen. Get rid of the bad, rogue cops.

That is not what they are talking about in Minneapolis. I am all for change if it truly is going to make things better and proven
Reforming is one thing, getting rid of is another. I am all for it, want to see what happens to be honest..

Putting less cops on the street or none at all will most likely be an epic failure in the inner cities. My opinion.

Also there are many other things involved besides the police so just looking at that will not resolve the so called problems
