I am not surprised that neither one cares for the other's state mostly because of the vastly differing overriding political considerations.

That said, as much as some want to portray me as a socialist or worse, in most ways I am slightly

left of middle of the road in many ways, and actually a bit to the right in some ways as I am against both abortion and gay marriage.

Keep in mind also that I was involved in welfare investigation for fraud among other things for 34 years, which would really

be difficult to do objectively as a socialist.

Actually there are a number of Republicans who are down to earth and whom I would vote for if they ran against Biden, namely Romney, Governor

Dewine and ex governor John Kasich.

I share a lot of their views and just as importantly I am impressed what they are as human beings, as opposed to Trump.

In short, I almost always vote the person first rather than his or her political affiliation, which in itself doesn't mean very much.
