On a team -1.5 or -1 or an under, top 9, 2-out single...

RUNNER TO SECOND BASE ON FIELDER'S INDIFFERENCE.

Single, run scores. Next batter gets out.

Walk to basement. Grab noose.

watching a game on the yahoo game channel....when your team goes 85 yards for a score you even see the long line indicating the td....you leave to take a celebration dump.....when you return....somehow someway it was reviewed...guy stepped out of bounds or his knee touched way back near the line of scrimmage.

Agree with this...And to top it all off, the Defense is now CELEBRATING the win.

NBA.

Team is behind by between 1-3 pts with almost no time on
the game clock, forced to take a desperate shot
from no-mans land. Team that is ahead fouls said shooter. Shooter
gets three free-throws.

NBA All-Star Game 2003

After this shot there was 4 sec on the game clock, and Jermaine
Oneal commits a foul with 1 sec on the game clock to F*ck up
Jordan's last hurrah.

Injury time soccer goal to decide an over or under or side. Nothing more nail-biting than that.

I think the rate of runner scoring in the 9th inning after advancing to 2nd on fielder's indifference is 99%. Probably not even an exaggeration.

Team down 9, 10 or 11 points in football using up the entire clock to get the TD first instead of kicking a reasonable distance FG, leaving themselves some time to recover an onside and run a few plays.

They inevitably try an onside kick with 6 seconds remaining, not to mention the TD almost always back doors the game.

There are two that blow in hockey, empty netters to push a game over when you have under or the 6 v 5 goal with about 4 seconds left to send it to OT when you have the team that is ahead. you will always lose the game in OT

Judge,
Please remember the audience you are responding to here. For me it would have to be Ibsen's Doll House or I Remember Mama.

Good one. Even better when they do it on the 35!! Which 9 times out of 10 goes in the endzone.:ohno:
Why don't punters aim for the coffin corner anymore????

:ohno:

How about having the under until someone is shooting a long 3-pointer that is going to miss at the buzzer only to have the ass wipe defender get interference???
