Bush doesn't understand - you DO NOT get a good Tech job with a Comm. College degree ...

It doesn't happen that way. You need to drop 40 dimes+ into a quality university. The people losing these jobs are going to be VERY hard pressed to get them back.

You also dont get tech jobs if nobody invests in technology because most of the potential profits are eaten up by taxes so that those who choose not to work can be taken care of.

Yeah, that's part of the puzzle.

The one things that irritates the hell out of me are the college loan defaulters ... they should be forced to work 2 jobs at McDonalds if need be .. but why should we foot the bill?

Oh yeah, its the governments fault that all the private universities jack up tuition at a ridiculous rate every year, and gouge students at every opportunity.

Public universities are very affordable, and one part time job is more than enough to pay it off.

By the way, most of the money private universities goes to graduate students working on research projects, so undergrads get back a lot less than they pay for.

Wait a minute, that sounds awfully familiar. Taxpayers supporting everyone else.

I went to a private University.

Worked 2 PT jobs the 1st 3 years, & 3 PTs the last (after I landed a job) and I'm still paying back loans.

I HAVE no sympathy for anyone that cries they can't find a job and can pay their loans back ....

bullshit. Those are the same kids that spent all weekend doped up and partying while I was studying & working.

We all have free will (as in choice, not Wilheim's services

Defaulting is FRAUD IMO. Take some responsibility.

The answer is debt.

Government debt.

Corporate debt.

Consumer debt.

And, of course, the ever widening trade deficit.
