What is happening here??

Back in 2006 or 2007, the RX Bash was held at the Imperial Palace and was probably the best Bash there ever was...hundreds of posters there from all over forumville...Sportsbooks and Ric from Sports Options were giving away free money to many guys...there were black jack hands giving away thousands of dollars and a poker tournament with money being given away...

That same year for XMAS, I got together an RX Bash in Costa Rica with money donated to me from Rick..we had a golf tournament and poker tournament before the party with many door prizes being given away with a nice buffet spread which was free for any RXer and a guest...over 500 people attended and it was a damn fine party with live music...

The forum needs to go back to those days when everyone was friends and shared info with each other...those were good times and I'm sure a lot of posters remember those days...

Those were the good ol days. Unforntunately due to government interference, economy, and much fruad the industry is tainted. It will never be the same!

Good advice Viejo, and I agree 100%, but I've already tried & suggested that.
Took it up with some of the ownership at eog a while back, which are good guys by the way, they forwarded the suggestions to their employees, and they laughed it off and took offense to it.
Bottom line is they felt embarrassed that an ex-employee from there, who now works somewhere else, had to be the one to recommend the things I did.
Time for their ownership to step in with our idea because our owners here at TheRx have long taught us to turn the other cheek and not stoop to their level, which we have abided by.

But I have to ask, are you really bothered by 2 innocent posts vs the hundreds, or thousands over there, which are 100 times worse?
My post didn't put anyone down. I was just stating some facts.
Nor did Ace's.

I don't even waste my times looking at other forums, don't have the time, and I don't even have to, because I have about 10-15 posters who PM me all of the time letting me know what the "news" is elsewhere.

Please tell me this Viejo.
What do you think would happen or be said by eog posters to an RX poster who posted the same things and suggestions over there, that you just did above?
You know the answer VD, you're very wise and we all respect you, so please be honest...

When myself, Tony Montana, Jimmy Hoffa and others worked there, everyone got along and it was a place run with class.

Around 4:30 p.m. PST today [monday] the two forums had listed almost the same amount of views.

A few years ago i started a poll in Offshore re the most popular forum and the RR was number 1.

Worked there for a year but never considered it work...I don't support everything that the RX or EOG does but I do support freedom of speech without bringing family, race, or religion into it...I was let go for one reason only and that is between me and management..some of you smarter guys might figure it out...

If everything was hunky-dorey when you guys worked there, why is everyone gone? I never had a beef with anyone of you until Ace-Ace started mouthing off...check out the records of EOG's posters in the 10000 dollar cash giveaway on their radio show...I think Ace Ace was insulted by not getting the invite...

Bottomline...Continued success here at the RX...maybe take some time and listen to poster complaints and recommendations and try working with other forums instead of competing against them...I wish I could have had more time with EOG to do that, but circumstances beyond my control prohibited that...Dante, Betallsports, and Akilles are good people and I hope Wil comes back...you have a great nucleous of mods and for the most part they do a great job...

VD, I've been reading your posts since you came on board. God, you must be a lifetime "Mensa", since all your proclamations are viewed as an "edict from on high". Sort of like Barman! BetAll & Hache are doing the best they can, w/the departure of Wil & OMT. Been here as long as anyone, and yes the RX is now in a bit of a "down" cycle. But, like everything else, this too shall pass. Wish I had made a bash when younger, so I could put a face to those I'm trading posts with. Like BP!

I don't mind somebody disagreeing with me and I actually encourage it if they can do it in an intelligent manner. But saying somebody is wrong and then following it up with name calling and modifying ones posts to suit their agenda is something that shouldn't be tolerated.
