Posts like Ace-Aces disturbs me...the one on the front page right now putting down EOG and HacheMan piling on and claiming that this site is the best...when are you guys going to wake up and try and work together instead of knocking one another?
I am out of the loop now, but still post at both sites...now that Wil is gone(hopefully he returns) a couple of you are like vultures, positioning yourselves for a greater payday...
Instead of knocking one another, you guys better come up with some better ideas for advertising and revenue and try to improve the forums, and that is directed at all forums....
A BASH like the old days would be a start with maybe 2 or 3 forums working together and throwing a real party like the RX used to do...Then you would see some books and guys from Don Best and Sports Options throw a little cash around like they used to...
Just an observation from a real old dinosaur...because like a dinosaur, sports forums are leaning the way of becoming extinct down the road...

i agree here,but sometimes i get caught up with people and their stupidy and smart remarks that i revert back and get into it with them instead of walking away.i guess my job has something to do with that and i have to not back down,but i have to remember to leave my job at work and not get lured into this idiot internet fighting with people who mostly just hide behind their screen
Good advice Viejo, and I agree 100%, but I've already tried & suggested that.
Took it up with some of the ownership at eog a while back, which are good guys by the way, they forwarded the suggestions to their employees, and they laughed it off and took offense to it.
Bottom line is they felt embarrassed that an ex-employee from there, who now works somewhere else, had to be the one to recommend the things I did.
Time for their ownership to step in with our idea because our owners here at TheRx have long taught us to turn the other cheek and not stoop to their level, which we have abided by.
But I have to ask, are you really bothered by 2 innocent posts vs the hundreds, or thousands over there, which are 100 times worse?
My post didn't put anyone down. I was just stating some facts.

I don't even waste my times looking at other forums, don't have the time, and I don't even have to, because I have about 10-15 posters who PM me all of the time letting me know what the "news" is elsewhere.

What do you think would happen or be said by eog posters to an RX poster who posted the same things and suggestions over there, that you just did above?

Evidence of why VD should be apart of a co-head moderator position around here if he'd accept.
As far as the whole comical outburst on having multiple serve as a head position, I apologize if I want to keep this forum from headed down the shitty path it's on.
Though considered a sports betting forum, I haven't gambled on sports in over 2 months and still find TheRx as apart of my everyday life.
Take what you have for granted and it'll be gone.......

Bottomline...you have a choice where you post and who you interact with...who cares where gambling info and great selections come from? We are all in this to beat the bookmaker and have some good fun along the way...
