beliefs are powerful, we like to fuel them .....kinda like religion. BUT, give me data to support your claim. I ENJOY reading studies, kinda freakish that way . GIVE ME DATA that says ' meat and dairy are the leading causes of illnesses in this country' (link , sir?) - if you dont have such, cool, ........
i'm a omnivore . about 12 % body fat. Blood levels are fine. ..........
Watch the documentary to see that data. I saw something similar in Forks over Knifes documentary. It is world wide data. Country by country. I can't find it on the internet.
But this is what the IARC said about it....
The International Agency for Research on
Cancer (IARC) has classified processed
meat as a
carcinogen, something that
causes cancer. And it has classified red
meat as a probable
carcinogen, something that probably
causes cancer. IARC is the
cancer agency of the World Health Organization.
It's more about what studies are being done that shows meat is okay to eat....most of those studies are being done not independently. So you get to learn about how meat is okay to eat from a non profit that is sponsored by meat companies. So what is the incentive to those studies? To say that meat is okay to eat. Everything in moderation right? But I don't know how much moderation works... especially when there are so many influences everyday, and if you are not aware of what they are doing to you...you may fall for them. That's mostly my point here. Is being more aware. Not saying omg don't eat meat or fast food ever it will kill you right away. I'm not saying that. Just saying don't give them the satisfaction of telling you that you need to take all this medication for the rest of your life.
I don't have an exact article I can reference, but independent studies in that documentary are conducted that you can see. If I had it on right now I probably could google the articles
