How 'bout a "Suicide" N.F.L. Pool this Season ...


Basic format ...


Pick 1 team to WIN straight up each week.


Once you've selected a particular team, eg. NY Giants ...


You may not select them again; for the remainder of the season.


As soon as you Lose your 1st pick...you're eliminated!


This procedure is carried out each week, until there is

only 1 participant remaining.


If 2 or more 'cappers are tied in Week 17,they can now


divide the Winnings,have a Post-Season TieBreaker,etc.

The quick scoring and line moves is what people pay Don Best for so I don't see that just popping up here on a free forum even though the new venture that is launching soon is promoting that through Don Best. The PM idea is pretty standard on forums and should be available so the biggest thing will be just to keep some interest in a name brand site that won't have it's original core anymore while new competition is generating interest.

Contests, promotions and Book bonuses only go so far and mainly target smaller bettors so the poster strength insight and knowledge is what keeps people coming around and if that drops off with the new landscape developing for these sites then there's not much you can do to generate fresh interest on an established name brand only product.

This was brought up to The General before all Hell broke loose: Make a thread or whatever for essential links. Links for live lines, Neteller, weather, vegas sites, ESPN, whatever. This can greatly help the uninformed.

Naw, let's leave it up in case anyone else was not aware of it. It probably did go on longer than it should have, but censorship & bannings have their drawbacks. It's a fine line of fairness that we try to straddle, but enough was enough & the decision was made.

To those of you saying 'line service' I like to think of myself as very well educated in the matter. I have tracked the work Lander has done, and I can 100% honestly say that those lines on the Live Lines section are very fast and accurate! For anyone not needing a complete service and can deal with the refresh, I dont think it can be beat. It is #1 in its class for sure.

A congrats to the 2 new mods are in order too. I dont know how much you have had to do with it, but this forum is definitely getting better and better. The atmosphere around here has been great lately.

How about giving the posters that post there picks in the Tracker forum the ability to change the title of there thread daily to reflect there YTD Records? It would make things so much easier for the viewers.

This site is headed in the right direction. I love the new mods. This place will not skip a beat come August 1st.
