I think theRx should set up a real live lines service, I mean real-time (within 10 seconds of the actual move).

Seems like if it did happen that way you could just report the offender to the Moderators and have their privelages revoked, atleast give the option to block specific users if you dont wish to recieve messages from them.

Dime

PM is a good Idea in my opinion

1. Scoreing updates that are Immediate,,(they lag 1-3 hours now)

2. PM of course,,

3. a Q & A SECTION where any and all Questions could be answered about capping on all Levels

and have different cappers that specialize in the Different types of capping,,,

Curretnly Most will help,, but I think all would agree the help is very Marginal,,,

as others have said - and i have said many times, too

a PM function so we can send PMs to each other as opposed to having to do stuff like:

Hey (so-and-so) send me an e-mail so we can discuss something - my address is.......

it just looks so unprofessional and what if the other person never sees it. sending a PM to someone means they will get it - no worries at all

Agree with Kiss1 to keep touts off the site. But not that sure about not paying them to write articles on handicapping. Might be OK, PROVIDED they are not promoting themselves in the article, or mentioning anything at all about their biz. That kind of tout, tho, might be a white blackbird, ie an oxymoron.

On another thread (re a WB column) I've already expressed my view. Up the level of journalism re sports betting. There is talent out there, I can guarantee it. It surely will take more commitment that what seems currently operational on Rx, but it should be worth it.

Even if the compensation is token - as I suspect it would be - it will boost the worth and quality of the site. Rather than just running as a column whatever random thought or experience a regular wants to write about, the site could become a clearinghouse for the most trenchant sports betting journalism, equal or better than what appears in the Vegas daily. (Or at least used to when I lived there.)

Rx needs to go back to its freewheeling beginnings to keep me interested. This, I think, may also apply to other sportsbet sites, tho I don't check them as often as I do this one, more from habit than anything else.

I've already mentioned the tedious, dull "columns." No longer struggling to establish itself, Rx is "safe," and provides nice little sinecures for the insiders. It's a business, and like all businesses will go all out to protect its ass[ets].

Including, I think, censorship of uncomfortable posts. Really really "establishment" now. An old story.
