The area around the Stadium is fine on game day. Always plenty of police presence uniformed and undercover. Large crowds that attend very good bars, eats and souvenir shops that do extremely well during baseball season. Stop being a wuss Metro, lol.

Ive only been in that area on non game days. And going back 20 years. perhaps its a much better place now.

I have a lot of places I really like next to CitiField instead used to stay on Ditmars. Corona and OP. , that's my preference.

On non game NIGHTS it could get hairy. Never been, never have, never will, why would I? Why were you there on a non game day? CitiField area in general is better.

I don't remember I was young and a passenger. we used to drive by there every so often and the Bronx in general I wasn't fond of.

there is some bad areas near citified .. the neighborhood directly next to where all the junkyards are is like a 3rd world country ..

but yeah there's many places in queens I do like tho

I haven't been in the stadium since Mel Hall played right field (. I know I said never on game day, I dont remember the area on game day just being in the stadium. ) .. but Citifield is incredible, a beautiful stadium, gorgeous baseball stadium to me.
