how about to the mavs?

Miami should've got that one on talent, yeah but that was their 1st year playing together and they really hadn't assembled much in the way of roleplayers yet (Battier, Allen, Birdman)

Dallas was a good team though, swept LAL and beat OKC in 5. Were they an all time team? No, but I don't think losing to them is awful or anything. I'd say it was LeBron's worst loss though. Especially his play in the 4th quarter in that series was pretty subpar.

He did follow it up with 2 titles beating OKC and SA in the finals. These teams weren't exactly slouches.

how about one freak offensive rebound ray allen 3 away from losing to the spurs then being spanked by them the very next year

Cmon man its sports. A lot of championships are decided by the most narrow of margins.

He played great in the 4th quarter of game 6 to erase a 13 pt lead and then dominated game 7. You get credit for that.

Lebron complains about being fouled to hard. Hes already failed in 3 finals. Aktard shut your troll ass before i destroy it with my giant

Your arguments are super pathetic bro. It's about that time for apologies or just disappearing altogether. This has been a pretty embarrassing moment for you.

Finals losses seems to be your top criteria, how many times did Bird lose in the finals? How about Wilt? Jerry West and Elgin Baylor? That's a pretty silly criteria, especially when you're not talking about an individual sport.

bad simile...christ, losing to magic and kareem? or russel and cousy and those amazing boston squads?

In this thread we have nbacapper who basically thinks LeBron is the most overrated human of all time, then we have Vitt who thinks if you put LeBron on the Sixers they would start rolling people.

Quite a broad spectrum of opinions.

Dwayne Wade was no longer Dwayne Wade at that point in his career (their offense was way better with him off the court that entire series) Of course Allen was strictly a roleplayer at that point as well.

Bosh didn't even score in game 7. This wasn't some stacked team compared to the Spurs or anything, LeBron had to play great or the Heat wouldn't have won.

jesus, man, sounds like lebron won all by himself...by role player, you mean an absolute sniper? we might wanna give ray little more credit for the shot round the world..memory serves me, bosh got the offensive rebound

just sayin

I'm not sure what you are getting at but Ray Allen was clearly a roleplayer and far removed from his prime with his stint on the Heat. Just dropping "Wade, Bosh, Allen, James" sounds a lot better than it looks without context. He wasn't his prime Ray Allen then. Wade had knee problems that whole season and without being as good off the ball, he was somewhat of a liability at times for the Heat in that series.

Do you want LeBron to make every single play necessary for the team to win or something? Because that isn't really how this sport works.

So playing on a good team is a detriment now?

Tough crowd

Ray Allen still had something left in the tank during that Heat run.
