What are some things you guys do the save money ?

I have some physical disabilities in my old age, but could do it if I had to, I prefer to have Fernando do it, no contract, no schedule, just call/ text him when I want it done, about every 2 weeks,plus or minus, he only lives .1 miles away ! Works for me.

Like I said first , cash is great and Mexicans lov e cash, I'm sure this guy is here legally, he's a contractor, not so sure about licensed contractor, no license number on his business card, he bills himself and partner/ brother as carpenter/ painters, but claims to do about anything, they do tree removal work, own a bucket truck, have a shop of some sort in the next town over, I suspect their business is operating defiant to law, I couldn't care less.

You can't really fuck up mowing a lawn !

All lighting in my house is now LED. The bulbs of course cost a little bit more but worth the investment.

also take your winter night furnace down 5 degrees colder around 9pm to 6am, have a blanket or three

same thing summer air conditioning up 4 degrees from what you normally do

That's one thing you shouldn't buy there, sure 4 rolls for a buck but nothing on them, you can get Scott's 1,000 sheet or the equivalent Marcal brand for about 50 cents a roll or less. A 20 pack for like $8.99- $9.99 on sale, sometimes even less than that ! One roll of that lasts longer than 4 rolls of DT turlet paper.

I do something similar about lying about age. There's a coupon in the flyer from my favorite grocery store, senior citizens ( 65+) get 10% off on Tuesdays, I'm 10 years short of that, but I now use it, I always pick a young cashier, I'm about 12 for 12 doing that, if questioned I'm shopping for my 93 year old neighbor, she's in a wheelchair, I try to help her out when I can... That should do it, too !

My first Xwife is even better at stuff like that, she will claim a military discount and probably can't even spell A-R-M-Y

It's great and works on a smart phone too.
