What am I missing on C Michigan +3.5 on Wed night ?

Randizzle is on Northen Illinois.....and he lost with Ball state last night, so makes ya think huh? is he gonna be wrong on both?

Ball St. easily left 14 points on the field. For what its worth Ball St should have coverd easily.

As someone who has tracked LeFevour all year due to him being my 1st round fantasy draft pick, I wouldn't put too much stock into him coming back tonight. He's coming off an ankle injury and I don't think he's completely healed. Actually, I'm 98% sure he isn't completely healed. Watching the Toledo game a couple weeks ago, LeFevour did *not* look like the LeFevour of old. Had almost no mobility, and I would expect much of the same tonight. Wouldn't be shocked to see Bruner - the senior backup - get some PT if things don't go well for LeFevour.

I'll probably put a little on CMU with the points since I think them and Ball St. are definitely the class of the conference, but a ML play is definitely a gamble IMO.

Good post. Schedule sets up nice for Western Michigan to possibly beat Ball St in two week.s

LeFevour got upgraded to probable this week so he should play, but as you mentioned Brunner has been just as good lately filling in.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

In the 2 starts Brunner filled in he threw for 831 yards which is an average of 415.5 yards per game and had 5 TD compared to 2 INT. Last week at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Indiana</st1lace></st1:State> he threw for 485 yards 4 TD and 1 INT.<o></o>

Common opponents: N. illinois 38 Toledo 7, C Mich 24 Toledo 23 . They play better at home, on tv tonight and its a "blackout" for the N. Illinois fans.

Funny how shortsighted you are. They also played W. Michigan, C. Michigan won 38-28, N. Illinois lost 29-26.

You might very well be right. Both my numbers and my gut tell me that Central Michigan is the play, but I've been so snakebit with strange losses for the last week that I think I have talked myself out of putting any money on this game.

For the record, though, I like the Chips in this spot.

This is one of those classic games.

If you lay the points because the line looks "fishy" and CMU loses by 1 or 2 or wins out right you are gonna say "why the hell did on lay those points, I knew it looked off"

And if you take the points and NIU wins by 7 you are gonna say "why did I take the points, it was a suckers bet, I knew it was a suckers bet that line looked too fish"

Lose lose situation. Maybe playing the total is the best option.

And even that looks low, figured it would be over 50.

I just hit C Michigan (+4) tonight I think they are the better team here and somehow find a way to win here to set up the showdown with Ball St next week.I'm not going to overthink this one and hopefully dont fall into the trap tonight
