WM might be a firt half play.
I think the MU will wear down the line of WM and the 2nd half MU runs all over with short passes.

MU was so bad last year that the team has to be fired up about destorying WM.

I might through MU in a teaser bet.

There are several ignorant comments in the above posts:

To wit: UM will wear down WMU on the lines. Huh? UM's OL was horrid last year and will just be marginally better this year.

They argubly lost their best 2 DL to graduation.

As to the poster who implied that UM might be looking ahead to ND, that is a scream! Teams that are 3-9 and lose at home to 3-9 Toledo look past NOBODY!

Ironically, UM's frosh QB, Forcier, will be good and is the least of their many concerns.

Agreed on this being a potential "lookahead" game. I don't believe in "lookahead" games for a team's opener at all.

I also agree with you on the offensive line bit to an extent, the line was still learning the new system scheme along with the rest of the offense. They will be better this year because of a year's experience, however, they will not be considered one of the Big Ten's best offensive lines by any means.

I'm assuming that you are referring to WMU? Because this guy is coming back.

UM's DL Losses

Yes, brandon Graham was highly touted coming out of HS and has been good. But if you look at production, his tackles lagged behind Terrance Taylor and Tim Jamison (both graduated). They also lost Will Johnson. Those are heavy losses, mi amigo.

i had to comment because this is about as wrong a piece of info as you can possibly have in regards to turnovers

after his first season @ WVU, his teams were +19, 16, 3, 14, 7, and 13 in turnovers each season, and it wasn't because of defense!!! pat white was there for only 3 seasons so don't say it was because of him...show me another program in the country that was positive turnover 6 straight years, 4 of those double-digits, because i don't feel like looking thru 118 other teams because i'm pretty sure what the answer is...

Pat White played 4 seasons. See the 4-0 bowl record. Also, when you don't pass, you should be winning TO battles. Especially in the watered down Big East after BC, VT, and Miami left.

When you compare the size of um o line to wmu d line.
Even though UM o line was shit last year they are still bigger and more experience than WMU. I give the advantage too UM. Some of that d-line is giving close 30lbs.That makes a huge impact in the 2nd half if the o stays on the field.
Does UM cover the line .........I dont know
Does UM win the game.............I think so

LIke them in a teaser bet.

Mich playing three qb's in this game isn't a good thing if you are laying points.

Right, and before WVU, his Clemson teams were +4 and +6 in '99 and '00, and his Tulane teams were +12 and +17 in '97 and '98.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, wow between this AMAZINGLY ignorant comment and the other guy who tried to claim Rich Rod teams have turnovers and was then completely PWNED by the actual stats, it makes me happy that there are so many idiots out there playing this game.

Yeah, a pre-season 1st team Big Ten and all-american candidate was obviously not the best guy on the line last year. Pretty pedestrian production out of Graham last year, yep you are right bud.

Pat White played 3 seasons...with Rich Rodriguez

also, he's running the same offense, and the post said RR ALWAYS has turnover problems, which is just NOT TRUE

Thanks, i didn't list those because he wasn't the head coach but those were his offenses so it is reflective of his work

You're right about this and I didn't expect this happening. I've never liked multiple QB systems and never seen any good come from situations like this. I'm probably off this game altogether with this info.

I can see living with a 2 QB system....but 3? Eek....this game screams WMU or nothing...

How can you justify taking out Denard Robinson if he drives the team down field for a TD....and then he sits for the next 4 series to get the other guys snaps?

Think you're right, ground hog11. RR probably just wants the QBs to keep competing right up until opening day...each QB could conceivably take snaps during the game, but really don't expect a 3-man rotation at all.

Here's the quote:

Rodriguez insisted the player who takes the first snaps will not necessarily be the No. 1 QB for the rest of the season.

"Maybe we'll have three starting quarterbacks," Rodriguez said. "That would be neat."

That doesn't sound very conclusive and I wouldn't read too much into it. I think RR is just trying to play some guessing games with WMU and ND. Here's the article...

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4417543

I'm not on the game so I don't really care either way but I think it's a ploy personally.

Dude, nobody said Graham was not good. But unless he clones himself, he cannot play all the DL positions. Actually, I take it back my comment about you being a moron. If you are from Columbus, you probably are about average in intellect for somebody living in Columbus
