I definitely like USC and UCLA both this week but I'm a bit hesitant laying all that wood in both games.
USC now seems to have found out that they really do have some talent on their OL. Well yippee. I also
like how Sam Darnold is handing his job as their QB. I heard that Max Browne is all vexed over Helton's
decision to use Darnold as their starter. He wants to transfer out. He'll either have to wait a year before he
is allowed to play or he can go FCS and start right away. How 'bout that freshman Darnold? He looked pretty
good in the Utah game last week. ASU usually treats the Trojans pretty bad and 10 points could be asking
too much from Helton's gang. i dunno, maybe. If their OL can keep it up, they should be able to cover. But
do I trust an OL that has actually showed up to play for only one week? Was that an aberration? In any event there could be a mess of points scored here.
UCLA of course doesn't need to prove anything at the QB position and they looked pretty sharp vs the trees
last week right up to the 4th quarter when Stanford started looking like their normal dominating selves and
took the game away from the Bruins. I think they will deal Zona a solid loss. Maybe lay 2 TD's to cover? Yowie,
that seems like a lot. With a number like that I'm inclined to look at the other side.
