2 units down at the moment, but hopefully the UCLA bet should wipe that right out. The total in that one has plummeted to 47. Dang! I'd probably hit it anyway if I had no action going.

Looks like it's going to stay on 10 for a while. That's a lot of points to lay against UW when their players are fresh. I can see them getting worn down in the 2nd half, maybe come out sluggish after half-time because the starters got all worn out, lacking depth and rotation. We'll see how much their new conditioning program has been working out for them. If they can stay with LSU the whole game, I would be impressed. Probably a waste of time to think about.

I don't know if anyone else has been watching USC & SJSU, but there's nothing you can say bad about Barkley. Well maybe some dropsies in the first half, but that went away. He drove his team effortlessly with poise and good decisions. His offensive line literally manhandled a fairly decent SJSU DL. Watching Barkley play, there's no way he's just 18 years old. But he is.

I saw Navy come close to running right up Ohio State's butt. Not sure what that could mean, but if what I saw today is any indication, USC's OL might school them in a couple weeks.

Nicely done. I wanted to listen on the UW game but I just couldn't suspend the visions of last year's team long enough. Great call on the UCLA/SDSU under--it was hardly easy and some fair amount of luck was needed but it was the right play.

I live in Pac-10 country (in fact, one Pac-10 school helps pay my mortgage) and I'm always eager to see what you have to say. Good luck the rest of the season.

I didn't watch it, but followed it on espn.com. 24 first quarter points and then a 50 yard field goal and a blocked field goal returned for a TD and it still goes under. Sounds like that play was destined to go under no matter what. Nice call on UW too. A lot of people had that one wrong.

nice week! trying not to engage that village idiot. he adds nothing to the conversation. I got a nice glimpse into his mentality last night. Let me just say that ignorance truly is bliss. 4 lsu guys sat right behind us. These turkeys who say that they know football. I was laughing my ass off at them.

Every defensive play they were yelling for blitz, every penalty was a P10 ref making a homer call. Before the game I told them they were in for a fight they laughed and told me this was SEC baby, they would roll by 40. And when I pointed out to them that their SEC defense was getting manhandled by the P10's worst team they had no response, just like Crissy when confronted by facts.

Pac10 looks like they are back .. Oregon was the only team that threw up a real stinker and Wash St is improving... I think the haters like Whoreman are going to be in hiding most of the year ...

Damn, that 50+ performance by Purdue yesterday sets up my favorite value angle on Oregon nicely next week. Oregon looks like complete shit on national tv and then they come home and play a team that put up 50+. Sure Toledo isn't very good but they play in a legitimate conference and did beat Michigan last year. But this Blount situation throws a wrench in those plans. I can't predict how Oregon will respond to that. I guess I'll wait to see the opening number and hear what you Pac 10 experts have to say about the situation.

I agree with that. I am sure Ducks does too. He was just rubbing it in. Probably the only people that believe it are a large number of SEC fans. Their IQ's are somewhere between 0 - 12.

Those are the same fans that laughed at the Oregon "dwarfs" all last season. OkSt. was supposed to wipe the stadium with the Ducks. After the Holiday bowl, they called OkSt. overrated, (just like many of them who watched yesterday will say LSU is overrated.) So what does OkSt. do in their next game in the new season? They whup UGA -- typicial. How much more of this before everyone throws the SEC under the bus -- overrated.

Where the hell is all of this "superiority" coming from? Just one team per year (lately) that's gifted a BCSCG berth? What about the other 11 every year? Most of them can be found laying under some bus somewhere... losing to a Pac-10 or other team from the West in "marquee" games -- more often than they win.

Like a school of fish that swim in unison, they say nobody but their own is any good except USC who has outscored them 167-48 in the last 4 games. Yet they think most Pac-10 teams are crap even though most Pac-10 teams have showed that they can play with USC better than any SEC team has lately during USC's winning stretch. (You can also include the Huskies.)

Other than that, they would throw their own right under the bus in a hot minute if it suits them. They threw Bama under the bus last year because their #2 was expected to clock Utah but instead lost to them in the Sugar bowl. Ignorance and arrogance go together often in that conference like no other. Those 4 LSU fans who sat behind Ducks were typical ignorant SEC jerks. It's was a probability, not a coincidence.

(No offense to you, you sound more intelligent than others... so far. At least you didn't make any excuses for LSU like jet lag, or they didn't really care about UW anyway. I've heard it all before, many times.)
