Ran across this tread and saw that you were doing a great job with your handicapping.
After doing some research, it appears to begin to try and get an edge in wager is to create a number of things such as;
1. power rating to rate the teams
2. Try to determine public perception if any
3. try to eval the players on each team
4. Review any recent trends
Can you please share anything else you may take into consideration when capping games? Thanks.
1) line value due to public perception: Self explanatory
2) Match ups: Line Play, QB, and WR/CB matchups in that order of importance.
3) Listing your own personal power rankings in each conference
4) situational spots. Sandwich, letdowns, look ahead are my three personal favs. Revenge factor totally overrated.
5) Coaching
6) TO prone QB's
