I have often found that logging into Rx causes spyware to be installed on my system. "Avenue A" and "Doubleclick" to name a couple. I don't think the Rx itself is behind it...I suspect some of your advertisers are. These programs, to the best of my understanding, track a users web surfing for the purpose of knowing which banner ads to display.
I find that spyware slows down my computer and I have to "scrub" it from time to time. Not a huge deal....but I just find the concept of spyware to be an ugly one in and of itself.
Obviously, Rx being a free site depends on advertising revenue. I just wonder if it were possible to have your advertisers not inflict their spyware upon your users.
