#1, the majority of people on this site take the site & themselves WAY too seriously it`s just a sports outlet for god`s sake. It`s not as tho most of America knows or much less cares about what`s said here. I like BTJ`s approach which is tongue in cheek (I hope). I myself enjoy it when guys on the site can establish a common ground even tho strangers. You can`t have too many friends. I`ve appreciated the opinions of a few, the really intelligent ones don`t seem to last. How about a legit pic of Angelle in cutoffs? Happy New Yr to all!

Shrink,

The laissez faire approach is definitely good but I don't think your posting is violation of that philosophy. It depends on what you post. Just stay away from moderation issues. You can still post picks, personal thoughts etc. as if you were a regular poster.

I've never had any problems with any moderators and I can't see any reason for this to change with the new setup.

The most important thing I look for on the forums is interesting discussion on handicapping issues and dispute resolution issues. If there is anything the mods could do it is to contribute to the discussion when they can and start new topics when things are a bit slow. The goal should be to keep a good mix of subjects at all times. Of course if there are no disputes to resolve, they don't have to create one, but they could for example bring up a smaller issue like automatic logging off (time-outs) or any little thing that books need to look at to improve service.

Overall I think the Rx forums are great and so any changes would just be icing on the cake.

Have a forum room for Strictly: Slow/No Pay inquires. (Name it anything)

Much of the stuff that belongs in football, etc. ends up in the main forum, which is OK with me. But the No.1 goal of the RX should be for players to be informed about this problem.

Too much non-gaming chatter on the sports only sections

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELLE!!!" in Offshore Sportsbooks/Casinos is only one example.

There is a difference between bashing and a legitimate concern. The concern should list the detail, bashing should not be allowed.

Well I usually lurk in the posting forums and I have been wondering where many of the faces of yesteryear have gone....

Get ATX, Kodiak, Dogball, Madcapper, Raiders, and 2Headedmonster back.....

That will really imrpove the sport forums.

Maybe they are just taking a break until baseball.

Thanx for taking some time to listen to our suggestions.

Start a new folder for those threads the
mods are instructed to keep starting yet have zero to do with gambling offshore.

Recent threads with titles like "Cardiovascular Workouts", "Plasma
Screen TVs..", "Todays Top Ten.." and
"Who would you choose to spend X-mas
Eve with?" are all just filler that
these folks wouldn't be posting except they
have some sort of quota to meet. Take a break
from enforcing the quantity over quality
edict that the mods appear to be subject
to.

In the same boat is the cut and pasting of stories that Dante does that really have nothing to do with offshore gambling. These
all can be put in a folder titled "Extra Stuff"
or something like that. It will make this
board more topical, current and manageable.

This site gets plenty of legitimate posts.
There's no need to prop it up anymore with
that type of stuff.

a disputes forum could be a good idea... keep things out of offshore until the facts come out... bring the thread to the main forum only if it's worthy

Bring back all the old posters who have been banned. Even if you have to create a new forum where they can only post there. Some of these newbies have alot to learn from these guys about capping and the in's and out's of the business, not to mention entertainment. Let's face it, only reading serious gambling threads gets a little boring after a while. And tell these guys to toughen up a little, this is the real world and not everyone is going to love you and sit around and the campfire and sing sissy songs.

em, if ken is not the owner here anymore, (a change of ownership which was done in a very low key hush hush manner imo), and if ken is not an employee of the site then is he just another poster?
