We should respect the black poster.

One of our black posters is feeling unwelcome because of racial epithets hurled his way . Some racial epithets are deadly insults for the recipient.This will have the effect of restricting the free form of information, which is the purpose of the RX. Maybe we will miss a valuable insight or a kernel of truth which will be provided by the person that was not made welcome. We should welcome everybody, because everybody's information counts.
I don't claim to be Mr. Super-Tolerant, but I say we should welcome everybody. As you can see,this is a selfish post. I want EVERYBODY'S INFO.

we already do... if one of us gets out of line with Remarks... like happened yesterday, 10 uf us step in to put them in their place... The Poster knows all is good at the end of the day...

Im fine with it.

I thought it over and took advice from posters on free speech and open forums.

It hurts on a level that im not sure you can understand. And then to have some of the responses be so blatantly ignorant is troubling to me. I guess it is because nobody says or does these things to my face, that when I see it in living color in posts that I am so surprised. I just think we are over things like calling someone what he called Ricky.

For those interested, I posted in the thread started by sportssavant an opinion that you might be surprised with. The topic is races and sports abilities.

Heck, we Costa Ricans have been called every name in the book here on the Rx.....

not to open a can of worms... but beleive me my friend... we are far from over it... although you can be thankful as hatred has been shifted towards 'ARABS' the enemy of the day... but we are FAR FAR FAR from over it...

heck it was only 40 or so years ago that a Black man coudnt vote... these things take 1000's of years to heal...

IMO the only time humans will no longer fight each other is if we face a much greater threat... sounds silly, but like aliens or something like that.
