Thats kind of an interesting comparisonI think Roger has the ability to rule on appeal (agreed upon in the CBA)
But, Watson could potentially sue if the punishment is inconsistent with past rulings. Heard he may try to compare to the Big Ben situation (6 games reduced to 4)
In your opinion what do you think was tbe worse offense btwn him and Ben? Ben had.what 2 girls accusing him of rape? Didnt one if them willingly go into a bar bathroom with him? I think thats what i rememberNFL gonna push to require Watson to get treatment as well as a condition to be reinstated if they succeed
I think Watson given the sheer magnitude of his wrongdoingsIn your opinion what do you think was tbe worse offense btwn him and Ben? Ben had.what 2 girls accusing him of rape? Didnt one if them willingly go into a bar bathroom with him? I think thats what i remember
Idk how to feel about this whole thing tbh but seeing as there was no legal grounds to pursue charges i dont think it should be any more than 8 games even if increased... i cant believe how much trouble these guys put themselves in just to get off, i mean i went to the dr the other day and bagged the receptionist and im a nobody in my 40s, how hard can it be for a world famous athlete in the prime of his life to have more than a few fwb he can just call when he wants to rail out? These dudes are reckless and dumb and theyre doing it wrong. No excuse to have 20+ women calling you a trashcan perv, they should be bragging to their friends about banging you like you just gave them the holy grail of DI think it's Watson's team that's going to use the different treatment of owners, Kraft, Snyder & others, as well as the precedent they established in other cases, as well as the fact that they didn't accept the rulings of an independent arbitrator, in their lawsuit against the NFL
The one potentially significant difference between Brady and Watson is that an independent arbitrator was never used in the Brady case.
How important is that in the legal arena? IDK, because evidently the CBA says Roger could take over if he doesn't like the arbitrator's ruling. Kinda dysfunctional in my view, and I don't know what that means in the court of law. But it looks like we're going to find out.
Or maybe they'll settle now, for more than six games and some fine, but not as much as Roger wanted
The best results are often times something neither side likes
