Hache, tell your boy BAS to give me my PM's back and take me off post review. Otherwise, yes... this was one of the craziest endings I've ever seen and would have hate to loss money because of it. The fact the NCAA won't reverse the decision even though they admitted the play should never have happened is crazy.

You're basing it off significance not off the events that happened. There's no way there are very many worst beats than this in the history of sports. How many times do you know of where a league has said a play should never have happened, but still allowed it to. And not only that, the play that happened to create the next play was absolutely crazy. There was 4 seconds on the clock and they had the ball. Lol.

your such an idiot .

Give me one example in the history of football where a team got to attempt a Hail Mary on a play that should not even have been allowed in the first place . Give me one damn example .

And this is coming from a guy (you ) who use to cry everytime one of your 1 run leads in the 6th inning got blown in baseball .

Such a clown.

This was historic.

Only 2 other bad beats compare.

Colorodo getting a 5th down .

And the mets walk off homer in the playoffs where the 3 run homer only counted as 1 run because the players on base did not cross home plate because they started celebrating winning the series .

Those are the only 2 that competes with these.

Instead of acting like a pompous ass why don't you give us some examples of beats that was worse then this?

This was historic on many levels

Hes a dumb ass. What can you do.

In the betting world it don't matter if it's super bowl or a game between 2 low level teams that nobody cares about . Money is money .

Has to be.
How can you top losing on a play that never should have been allowed?

Technically they lost the game after it was already over

Hes just being an idiot poster as usual .

It's almost impossible to have a worse beat then this.

A Hail Mary with a lateral on a play that should have never been allowed to be snapped in the first place .

How can you top that ?

We know it absolutely IS one of the worst bad beats ever by the fact that it is the bad beat that, finally, makes it absolutely clear that some later Ruling Body is needed that can overturn Win/Loss Outcomes.

Today, it is Crystal Clear that there must be some means by which to correct such mistakes.

Prior to this game? The level of Obviousness that there simply had to be a thing put in place? Nowhere even close to what we have now.

So, yeah, all the evidence one needs right there. This may have been the very worst bad beat ever, especially for those who lost with OKST ML

It was such a bad beat that because of it they are probably going to make a major rule change because of the outcome. But yet you have a few idiots in here that think beats like this happen every week.

This was a historic beat. By far the worst I have ever been associated with.

And it's not even close .

Choptalk needs my approval in order to feel good about his opinion.

His wallet and his pride must have taken an ass beating on this one

He sounds like Greenbacks when he finally snapped

Seeing the game live, I have to agree with CHOP on this one. It was ridiculous, one of the craziest endings I've ever seen in any sports.

Agree 100%

This game will eventually be the cause of a Review Board coming into existence that overturns particularly egregious outcomes.

Though, honestly, if Refs & whatever REVIEW was available were unable to catch this in time, we might see another crazy Season-Changing for a team flub, such as this...

Recall Last Season's DOOK v. MIAMI Game........that was a crazy finish that possibly warranted Review.

Yeah, another ho-hum game. It would have been one of the worst bad beats ever if Central Michigan threw a hail mary and a guy simply caught it in the end zone...due to the fact how much of a favorite on the ML Okie State was.

Add in Oklahoma State's awful clock management to get an intentional grounding and the miracle to even catch the ball then the dude flips it to another guy before he falls down, THEN the guy outruns multiple defenders to score.

On top of all that, the play shouldn't have counted, the replay officials could have buzzed in and called the game as well. None of that happened.

On top of all of that, the replay people and the refs are being suspended for the error and there is talk about overturning the game. Outside of all that, no big deal.

Cruise is stupid

Crews at controversial Central Michigan-Oklahoma State game suspended.

The Big 12 and Mid-American conferences both announced Sunday that the officiating and instant replay crews who worked the Central Michigan-Oklahoma State game have been suspended for two games.
The MAC suspended the eight officials who worked the game on Saturday after they wrongly awarded Central Michigan an extra play after time had expired, resulting in the Chippewas' winning Hail Mary-and-lateral touchdown.
"After a thorough review and evaluation of the entire Central Michigan at Oklahoma State contest, we have decided to suspend the officiating crew for the next two consecutive weeks," Bill Carollo, the coordinator of football officials for the Collegiate Officiating Consortium, said in a statement. "I have personally informed the crew of our decision."
The Big 12 also suspended its two-man instant replay crew for two games and will not allow that group to work a bowl game this season.

"The crew missed an opportunity to advise the MAC officiating crew of the misapplication of the penalty giving CMU an untimed down that resulted in its game-winning touchdown," Walt Anderson, Big 12 football coordinator of officials, said in a separate statement. "NCAA rules permit instant replay to correct egregious errors and it is unacceptable that it did not occur in this situation. Additionally, this replay crew will not be eligible for assignment to an end-of-season bowl game."
In one of the more improbable finishes to a football game, CMU wide receiver Corey Willis grabbed a lateral from fellow receiver Jesse Kroll at the 12-yard line after a Hail Mary and raced into the end zone with no time remaining to stun then-No. 22 Oklahoma State 30-27 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
But it never should have happened.
MAC referee Tim O'Dey -- as well as the MAC and the Big 12 conferences -- acknowledged after the game that Central Michigan was wrongly awarded an untimed down, which resulted in the finish.

I think there was, like, 3 (three) potential Blocks from the Back and One instance when a guy could have been ruled Down and yeah...

....that was MY THIS cuz I lost with DOOK, in this game.

If you recall MIAMI had been having an AWFUL Season....

.....that to explain why I'd bet on friggin DOOK on the Road at The U :):)
